Bill C-6 is a proposed ammendment to the current Consumer Protection Act. This ammendment is proposed by the government to keep us safe from hazourdous chemicals in comsumer products by giving Health Canada greater power to regulate such consumer products.

However, what the government fails to disclose, which is hidden in the bill itself, is that this change to Bill C-6 would essentially remove the law of Tresspass! This bill would allow Health Canada Inspectors to tresspass on your property without any warrant, or any additional permission from the courts.

Furthermore, warrants to enter your house are now made easier as Health Canada Inspectors can be issued such warrants if you have consumer products in your home...do you not have consumer products in your home??? Light switches, cleaning products, closet hangers...anything you have bought pretty much!

Bill C-6 gives the government easy access to enter your property and your home. They can then seize your property and send you bills to maintain your property. They can hold onto your property for an unspecified period of time and not have to justify to the courts why they are holding on to it for such long periods of time.

Bill C-6 then gives the Minister the power to add or subtract from the bill consumer products he chooses. They could for example add Natural Health Products to this list, and they would then be regulated.
